I have worked in the finance industry for the last 20 years having spent time at Barclays in Business Banking, RBS Invoice Finance and Close Brothers.​

I am from Rochdale and I started my career in accountancy before going abroad for 10 years and living in Mexico. I returned to the UK in 2002 which is when I started working in banking and finance sector.

 

In more recent years I also helped set up and run our families Mexican street food restaurant business where we catered for events, festivals and food markets as well as having a permanent restaurant venue, so I understand all of the challenges of starting and running a business.

I am a proud mother of 2 grown up children. In my free time I love to socialise with my friends, walk my Labrador in the beautiful countryside surrounding our home and go for the occasional “leisurely” bike ride.
